What you said here are very very true. I've started my own business years back and though I failed many times, I knew deep within me that it'll work someday.

Today, I still have a job (but it's a work at home job) plus my own business and things are getting better.

I think there's really no reason why anyone should not at least give starting a business a try.

Hi Lynn, good point! Maybe it would be easier to attain relationship mastery if we had a manual to go by?? Thanks for your contribution.

My husband and I have been awake together about 3 hours/day (on average) x 7 days x 52 weeks x 32 years = 34,944 hours

If mastery takes 10,000 hours of focused practice and the vast majority of hours in marriage are very far from focused, even 32 years is far from the mastery level.

We all spend way too much time as novices.

The lesson: Pay attention!

:-)

Hi Silvana, thank you so much for your feedback, I am happy that you enjoyed reading my blog! Yes, it's simple as that, a little progress each day and the results come maybe slowly at the beginning but the more consistently. I observe people having such a hard time with this. They do a lot at one and then they take a break. It's almost like riding the bike and only pedaling every once in a while. It takes much more energy and in the end you don't get as far.
I enjoyed reading and exploring your blog as well and I am looking forward to future conversations!
Happy Thanksgiving, even if you don't celebrate it down under?

Hi Karin, From the start, your blog's tag line: life coaching for women got me interested. I found your posts quite empowering and very straight-forward. Particularly your advice on this one about setting up a business. I know that it is as simple as that...a little progress each day. That is all that it takes.
BTW I'm bummed that I missed hour teleseminar. Please keep me posted on future events.

Stay in touch,
Silvana

Hi Bob,
thanks for your message. If you’d like you can email me and tell me a bit about where you are in your life and what the challenge is you are going through. I am happy to explore if there is anything I can support you with.
How long have you been in Prague, it’s such a beautiful city! I lived in Berlin for many years and I liked it a lot.
Cheers,
Karin

Hi everybody and thanks for your thoughts! Yes, agreed, sales is much more complex than just having robots - or corpses, as Jason so graphically puts it - handing out mac computers. I don't think he means it literal :)

I like his approach because it highlights the change in todays market away from 'sales tactics' to sales service, away from pushing a product to loving a product!

IMHO, the more products enter the market that are created out of passion rather than greed and competition, the more this natural sales process will happen.

Customers and consumers want to buy. They want to buy great products and they want to have a good time doing so. In my experience. Do they want to be educated and talked to? Some do, some don't.

I love Jason and really enjoy when he stops by on TWiT. I think Jason has some truth in what he says; however, it's not as clear cut as presents. Sure, robots could sale iPhones but not iMacs. Both are excellent products but because there's this mis-perception about Macs, a sales forces IS needed to help potential customers become educated about the product at the store. A robot won't educate.
